Oceanid's RescueCat - A Rescue Boat Dive Platform for Emergency Responders

The Oceanid RescueCat is an all aluminum twin modified V hull catamaran that is designed specifically for the Dive Rescue / Emergency First Responder community.  The full width flat working deck has a working capacity of 3600 pounds and can easily carry 2 ATVs, a thousand feet of oil boom or support a complete dive team while drafting only 12” to 16” depending on loading.  Twin 60 hp 4 cycle outboard engines will provide a 25 to 30 mph speed range while twin 115 hp 4 cycle outboard engines will provide speeds in excess of 35 mph depending on sea conditions.  The RescueCat is very comfortable with the open ocean environment but it is designed to excel on inland waters and rivers.  The open bow design allows easy equipment and personnel transfer between deck and shore.  The catamaran design provides unexcelled side-to-side stability for off center working loads and challenging water conditions.  The deck and console are painted with a non-slip urethane truck bed liner coating.  The flat deck design has more than 150 square feet of useable area and the 10 deck hatches provide access to over 200 cubic feet of below deck storage capacity.  Standard equipment includes a galvanized dual axel trailer and aluminum T top / cockpit cover that provides mounting surface for lights, electronics, antennas, radar systems, etc.  Also included are a hydraulic steering system, GPS navigation system, navigation lights and a marine radio.
